My favourite recipe I use for the food flask is tinned tuna stew. I eat this regularly on hikes. I've eaten it in woods, on the South Downs and lake sides. Always great for a cold day!

5 minutes to prepare and 15 minutes to cook
Method
- Chop everything, veg, garlic etc into small chunks, cover with water.
- Heat to a simmer, not to boiling, until the stew is nearly cooked
- Place into a food flask (assuming the flask has been heated for ten minutes with boiling water previously).
- The stew will continue to cook gently until you open to eat

- 1 tin of tuna
- Potatoes
- 1 carrot
- Miso paste
- 1 small onion
