Sandra's Chickpeas with King Prawns and Calamari

I love this recipe as it is full of flavours I love to have it with friends and family because everybody loves it is perfect for taking away as it gives you a lot of energy and keep you filled and warm.

Serves 4
to prepare and 25 minutes to cook


  1. In a pan heat the olive oil, chop the onion and 2 garlic cloves and fry them for 7 min or so, add the paprika, calamari, cumin and bay leaf and fry them for 15min.
  2. Add the wine and the fish stock and cook it for 10min.
  3. Add the paste of chickpeas, the king prawns peeled beforehand, the chickpeas and cook it for 10min more. Serve warm and enjoy 😉.


  • 3 cloves garlic
  • Handful parsley
  • 1tbsp oats
  • 2 tins chickpeas
  • 2tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1tbsp paprika
  • 400g calamari
  • 1tsp cumin
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 100ml white wine
  • 500ml fish stock
  • 16 king prawns
