- Fry the veg until softens slightly
- Put in slow cooker
- Add herbs
- Add purée and Worcester
- Add 600/700ml hot water
- Crumble over stock cubes
- Add pepper to the cornflour and Rub the cornflour on the beef chunks
- Fry for a few minutes until browned
- Add to slow cooker
- Cook slowly all day until beef melts in your mouth .

- 1 onion
- 3 carrots
- 2 parsnips
- 3 bay leaves
- Handful of thyme
- 2 tbsp tomato purée
- 2 tbsp Worcester sauce
- 3 beef stock cubes
- 900g beef
- Cornflour 2 tsp
- Handful of parsley
