Autumn is officially here and with it brings lots of moments to look forward to:

  • Wearing comfy clothes.
  • An extra hour in bed as the clocks go back.
  • Autumn recipes - filling, wholesome, warming meals!
  • Halloween!
  • The return of Roast Dinners!
  • Cozy, dark evenings.
  • Bonfire Night.
  • Hot beverages!

The temperature might be dropping but that doesn’t mean we all need to hibernate! As the trees turn to orange and gold, embrace the smells and sights of Autumn.

First and foremost, conker picking! There is something so wholesome about getting out in the Autumn sun with the crisp leaves under foot, hunting for conkers with the kids. Make it even more special by filling a Thermos flask with hot chocolate and pack some marshmallows as a sweet treat!

Let’s go fly a kite, up to the highest height!

October brings a strong breeze and it’s the PERFECT month for kite flying. Pick an open location, pack up your food flasks with something warming and your Eco Cool bag with delicious snacks then have lots of fun trying to get the kite flying.

Think Winter Love Island vibes with a fire pit and marshmallows. Who doesn’t love a toasted marshmallow? Fill up your mugs and tumblers with your favourite hot beverage and huddle around the fire. Tell jokes, share stories, sing, play instruments and curl up in big blankets. You could even set up an outdoor cinema if you have the technology!

Need ideas for a date night? We have got you! You will need a picnic rug, blankets, your favourite snacks, your significant other and two Stainless King desk mugs. Put on your warmest clothes and take a drive to a vantage point and watch the stars. Super romantic and will definitely score you some husband/wife points!

There is no such thing as bad weather, just unsuitable clothing! Beach days are still possible in Autumn! Instead of ice lollies, think hot drinks in your Ocean by Kate Stephens flask, wellies and a long walk whilst the waves crash on the shore. Don’t forget your hat, scarf and gloves to avoid catching the standard winter cold!
